Upper Cascades Falls

Location: North Carolina
Directions: This waterfall is located in Hanging Rock State Park about 2 miles north of Danbury, NC. From Danbury travel north on Hwy 8/89 to the Hanging Rock State Park entrance on the left. Follow the signs to the visitor's center and park in the huge parking area. The trail to the falls starts at the west end of the parking lot. The short trail crosses the road and leads to an observation deck. Take the stairs at the end of the deck to get a good view of the falls. The trail to Window Falls is at the opposite end of the parking area.
