With the weather forecast looking quite damp we decided to stay inside for the afternoon and checked out the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum in Maggie Valley.

The museum was great, with an extensive and overwhelming collection with lots of old and historic motorcycles.

And other motorized vehicles, including our favorite, an engine-drive wheelchair!

Staff were very friendly and could seemingly tell you more details on just about any bike on the floor – plus they periodically start up some of the bikes, which is quite noticeable in the warehouse!

The Wheels Through Time has a 4.9 review on google maps, and after visiting we enthusiastically agree. This is a gem of a museum that is worth it even for folks who aren’t motorcycle buffs.
