Some of our travel stats for the year:

• 88k total air miles on 11 airlines: American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, US Airways, Qantas, New Zealand, Emirates, Southwest, Delta, Alaska and Lufthansa.
• 11 countries visited: we returned to the UK, Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Australia and added several new-to-us: New Zealand, China, and Turkey.
• Domestically, we visited San Diego, Chicago, New York, Seattle, Florida, and made our first trip to Yellowstone National Park.
