Thankfully immigration wasn’t too crowded, so we cleared customs and hopped into a taxi within an hour of landing. After checking in, we grabbed a metro across the water so I could show Eric where I had been in February.
Perhaps obviously, the first stop was for macarons at Le Goûter Bernardaud inside the IFC tower, then we ducked into the Man Ho temple before exploring the PMQ art studios.
We stopped into Dim Sum Square for a quick bite before wandering down to the ferry terminal for a scenic, cheap and quick ride back to Kowloon.

The weather was decent, so we hustled back to hotel for camera gear, then made our way to the waterfront. There was a large crowd waiting for the light show, but we squeezed our way to a good viewing spot.
Heavy clouds started to roll in toward the close of the ten-minute show, so we lucked out this evening! We debated going out for drinks at one of the fancier hotels, but we were tired after an early morning start in Sydney so we headed back to the hotel room for some much needed relaxation.
