Last night we headed to Raleigh’s Lincoln Theatre to see Anberlin in concert. I’ve been a fan for several years and we’ve missed several of their appearances in the area. In fact, about two years back we found out about the concert the day after it had occurred… ever since I’ve been watching concert news items, and that lead me to hear about this show several weeks ago.

We arrived about halfway through the opening act, Morning Parade, and found a spot along the railing on the first elevated platform. That’s important when your wife is 5’1″!

This show was the second night of their new tour, so the band seemed to be excited and came out with a lot of energy. It’d been a while since our last rock concert, so it felt good to pop in the ear protection and enjoy the show.

Lincoln Theatre was a good venue for this concert and we’ll definitely go the next time they are in town.
