Phuket: The Pavilions Phuket

Wow.

The Pavilions was our favorite hotel of the trip due to the beauty of the surroundings and especially for their friendliness and service. This resort is actually composed of individual villas built into a hillside, each one separated from neighbors by high walls and tropical foliage. We booked a 1 bedroom tropical pool villa that had it’s own pool, a living room, small kitchen and a master suite with bathroom larger than the bedroom.

The resort is built on a steep hill so getting around could be strenuous; however, you can call for a ride (affectionately called a buggy) and we never waited more than a minute for a golf cart to show up.

our little spot @ Lanyan Beach
The resort has a private spot on Lanyan Beach with raked sand and umbrella-shaded loungers

While pricey, we felt like this place really lived up to the intimate setting we were expecting. A fantastic splurge.
