Fern Falls

Note: Further up the trail is Seven Falls, but the trail was rocky and confusing even with the directions we had and we couldn't find it.
Directions: Take the Mission Street exit of the US-101 freeway in Santa Barbara and head north toward the mountains. Make a left on Laguna Street and 3 blocks up make a right on to Mission Canyon Road. Turn right at the stop sign on Foothill Road (Hwy 192), then make a quick left back onto Mission Canyon Road. Follow Mission Canyon Road to Tunnel Road and bear left (the botanical gardens will be to the right). Continue another mile on the twisty Tunnel Road to the parallel parking area along the right side of the street. Follow the sign to Seven Falls by walking past a water tank and around a gate, it is about a 1.5 mile RT walk up a paved path to Fern Falls.
