Cascades Falls

Location: North Carolina
Directions: This waterfall is located in E.B. Jeffress Park at milepost 272 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The trail to the falls is relatively easy until the short staircases leading to the first and second overlooks. Both overlooks allow a view of the large falls from the top and side. A faint trail leads down from the second overlook to the bottom of the falls, but you'll have to hop the fence and it can be slippery/muddy, so be careful! We thought the view from the bottom was well worth it.
