We had three parties/dinners this weekend and will have five more this week, two of which we are hosting... gosh, I'm tired already! We are almost done with the Christmas cards and a bunch of packages also have to be mailed this week. I should have a few photos up of our new stove (!) and the cookie party prep and results later this week.

Here's a few more photos of the tree from last week... as you can see, it was a tad too tall when we first got it indoors, after Eric lopped off another foot from the trunk, it fit nicely! Our stockings are hung on the mantle, the tree is decorated and Eric had fun with the colorful outdoor lights. 'Tis the season!

We braved the rain and got a tree on Tuesday night and so far we only have the lights on as we have been super busy with friends/shopping. Here's a shot of our tree just waiting to be decorated...
Some people might notice that you can see the living room wall colors in the above photo. All the painting is done and we love the accent wall and the light blue main color.
On Wednesday we made our way over to the DMV and shelled out a bunch of money to get the ION registered in NC. New title, plate and registration should be here shortly. Now we have ten days to make an appointment for the car inspection.
We have several things to do this weekend including: addressing Christmas cards, putting up more Christmas lights, meeting with some folks in Raleigh about starting a supper club, a sparkling wine tasting, watching college football, and seeing Walk The Line or Aeon Flux. :)
